Day Trek to Mount Mayon Volcano inclusive of lunch Day 4 - Transfer to Donsol. Arrive Donsol. Free Time Day 5 - Whale and Shark Interaction inclusive of lunch The largest annual congregation of Whale Sharks is in Donsol from December to May. These gentle giants are migratory animals, found in warm tropical waters as they follow their food supply. They migrate to Donsol in vast numbers to take advantage of the dense food concentration of plankton and krill. Day 6 - Manta Bowl Dive The strong current from the San Bernardino Straight from December to May makes Donsol an ideal feeding center for the Manta Ray - the largest and most harmless ray in the world. Manta Rays are known to be extremely curious animals, and often approach and make themselves known to divers, but have never been known to attack. Day 7 - Transfer to Airport. Flight back to Manila. Arrive Manila, connecting flight to Tagbilaran Bohol. Arrive Bohol transfer to Accommodation. Whale and dolphin - watching has become a popular ecotourism activity in the area where sightings have been almost certain. Dolphin species abundant in the area are bottlenose, spinner, and spotted while 13 species of cetaceans are found including the melon-headed and baby sperm whales. The tour likewise includes a visit to an uninhabited yet beautiful white sandy islet where a group can bathe exclusively by themselves.
