This is one of the Philippines' most popular vacation destinations, due not only to its relative close proximity to the capital, Manila, but also because of the numerous beautiful sandy beaches surrounding the town. Puerto Galera is also one of The Philippines' best dive sites, and much of the area is now a marine reserve. Several hotels have facilities especially created to cater for the requirements of divers. Ferry to Puerto Princesa. Check in to Resort We next head south, in air conditioned transport, along modern highways, to the port of Batangas. At Batangas we transfer for the crossing by ferry to Mindoro island, arriving in Puerto Galera. Puerto Galera is recognised as being one of the most beautiful bays in the world!
