Legaspi - Donsol - Puerto Galera

Legaspi is famous for the Mount Mayon volcano, and you can enjoy interacting with magnificent Whale Sharks & Manta Rays in Donsol.

On the island of Mindoro lies beautiful Puerto Galera, described as one of the world's most beautiful bays. All kinds of activities can be enjoyed here, including swimming, sailing, water sports and diving. Puerto Galera is easily reached from Manila, requiring no internal flights. This is one of the Philippines' most popular vacation destinations, due not only to its relative close proximity to the capital, Manila, but also because of the numerous beautiful sandy beaches surrounding the town.

Puerto Galera is also one of The Philippines' best dive sites, and much of the area is now a marine reserve. Several hotels have facilities especially created to cater for the requirements of divers. Shallow waters abound also, to the delight of snorkelers.

Day 1 - Flight from Manila to Legaspi. Arrive Legaspi, transfer to Hotel

Legaspi City is one of the Bicol Region's top tourist destinations, famous for the Philippines' most active, and almost perfectly formed, Mayon volcano.

Day 2 - Whale Shark Interaction /Evening Firefly Watching River Tour inclusive of lunch

The largest annual congregation of Whale Sharks is in Donsol from December to May. These gentle giants are migratory animals, found in warm tropical waters as they follow their food supply.

They migrate to Donsol in vast numbers to take advantage of the dense food concentration of plankton and krill.

Whale Sharks are friendly to human beings as long as you don't scare them away by touching or harassing them. Give them respect and your encounter will be one you'll always remember!

The fireflies on the Donsol river should not be missed, and it is easy to get mesmerized by their dancing!

Day 3 - Free Time to Explore

Day 4 - Flight back to Manila. Arrive Manila, private transfer to Batangas Port. Ferry to Puerto Galera.

Puerto Galera has been described as one of the world’s most beautiful bays, where all kinds of activities can be enjoyed, including swimming, sailing, watersports and diving.

A number of beaches have some excellent hotels and resorts close by, and there are opportunities for exploration and trekking.
