Mt Mayon Trek

We offer treks up the slopes of Mt Mayon, which dominates the skyline near the town of Legaspi, and is particularly famous for the fact that is it an almost perfectly symmetrical shape. Its crater is permanently smoldering.

The whale shark, the world's largest fish, appears in Donsol waters between December and May each year, as Donsol is the seasonal feeding ground. Their arrival prompts the local community to provide interaction tours, when visitors have the chance to swim alongside these beautiful, harmless creatures.

Other activities to enjoy include river cruising, and firefly watching. Hundreds if these nocturnal insects inhabit the rivers and provide a glow around the mangroves.

All this is set against the backdrop of majestic Mt Mayon - an almost symmetrically perfect volcano, which has recently been showing signs of increased activity, drawing travellers to the region.
