LUZON is the Philippines' main island, of which Manila is the capital. Manila is generally the main point of entry to the country, and the hub for domestic travel.

We've divided our recommended trips into South Luzon & North Luzon.

South Luzon Selection:

Manila - Tagaytay - Manila

Just to the south of Manila is the inland resort of Tagaytay, which has a selection of hotels, and is a great base for exploring the area, including Lake Taal and the Taal Volcano.

Manila - Puerto Galera - Manila

Puerto Galera is a beautiful bay on the island of Mindoro. It is reached by a modern highway, then boat, from the port of Batangas.

Manila - Tagaytay - Puerto Galera - Manila

This trip takes you to Puerto Galera, but incorporates a stay at Tagaytay on the way.

Manila - Sorsogon - Manila

Sorsogon can be found to the very south of Luzon. Witness the majestic Mt Mayon Volcano, enjoy a firefly cruise, and swim with whalesharks!

North Luzon Selection:

Manila - Subic - Manila

North west of Manila can be found Olongapo and Subic Bay, now accessible via a modern freeway.

The resort is good for watersports, nightlife, and trekking.

Manila - Batanes - Manila

The Batanes Islands are the most northerly part of the country, and are quite unspoilt. We'll fly you there from Manila.

Manila - Sagada - Banaue - Manila

The world famous Rice Terraces are to be found at Banaue and surrounding area. Sagada is a beautiful town with plenty of places to explore - treks, caves, hanging-coffins etc.

Manila - Ilocos - Manila

We fly you to Loaog from Manila to discover the beautiful area of Ilocos. Ilocos Sur features Vigan - the oldest surviving Spanish colonial city in the country. Ilocos Norte has the beautiful beaches of Pagudpud.

The Middle Section of the Philippines comprises Palawan, the most westerly main island, and the Central Visayas Region. Vacations on Palawan generally take in Puerto Princesa, the island's capital, and El Nido - a stunningly beautiful area to the north. Further north of Palawan are the islands of Busuanga and Coron, accessed directly from Manila.

The Central Visayas is an extremely popular tourist region of the Philippines, featuring Cebu, Bohol and Boracay, amongst other islands.

Palawan Selection:

Manila - Puerto Princesa - Manila

The capital of Palawan, Puerto Princesa sits next to Honda Bay.

Manila - Puerto Princesa - El Nido - Manila

We fly into Puerto Princesa and explore Honda Bay, before taking a countryside tour up to magnificent El Nido.

Manila - El Nido - Manila

We fly directly from Manila to the fabulous El Nido, one of the most beautiful regions of the Philippines, if not this Earth!

Manila - Busuanga/Coron - Manila

To the very far north of Palawan, lie the Calamianes Islands. We fly you in to Busuanga, where you can stay, or be transferred to other island resorts such as Coron, or Sangat.

This is a great destination for diving as there are numerous wrecks not far beneath the surface of the sea.

Central Visayas Selection:

Manila - Bohol - Manila

Fly to Bohol to see the amazing Chocolate Hills and more.

Manila - Boracay - Manila

The Philippines "jewel in the crown" for many, is the tropical island of Boracay.

Manila - Cebu - Manila

Cebu is the Philippines' second city, on an island of the same name.

Manila - Bohol - Cebu - Manila

This trip takes in both Bohol and the neighboring island of Cebu.

Manila - Bohol - Cebu - Boracay - Manila

After exploring Bohol & Cebu, finish off with a break on Boracay.

Manila - Leyte - Bohol - Camotes islands - Cebu - Manila

This trip is an escorted tour that takes in a number of islands in the Central Visayas region.

To the very south of the Philippines lies Mindanao. The capital of Mindanao is Davao, and popular Samal island lies just off the coast.

Other destinations include Camiguin Island, which boasts 7 volcanoes, and Siargao island, which is famous for surfing and fishing.

Mindanao Selection:

Manila - Camiguin - Manila

Quite a mountainous island, Camiguin has an amazing seven volcanoes.

The coastline of this island is quite beautiful, with its mountainous backdrop, and the sands are volcanic grey.

Manila - Davao (Samal Island) - Manila

Davao is the center of trade and business in the southern part of the Philippines.

There are wonderful tourist destinations including the Philippine Eagle Foundation, and the Eden Nature Park. Beautiful Samal Island boasts sparkling waters, white sand beaches, private islets and caves.

Manila - Siargao - Manila

Siargao Island is a top destination for surfers.

Other sports enjoyed here include caving, boating, kayaking, sailing, parasailing, kite surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and game fishing.
